Friday

Greetings from Gasconade Hills.

Welcome Labor Day.......this is one of our best family week ends. Everyone comes to enjoy a good time
with cookouts and floating.

This Sunday is our big Camp Barnabas Children's Benefit. We will kick the evening off with our
band and the benefit meal. Leland McMasters the famed Bass Pro BBQ master will be at the grill again
this year.
We will have a pulled pork meal as well as shish kabobs, hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixins.
This will begin about 6:00. We have a live and silent auction in store with lots of merchandise to help
purchase scholorships for children who have been severely injured by burns. We will have the bounce
houses for the kids, cake walks and so much more for the evening entertainment. The finale will be our
great fireworks display done by Premier Pyrotechnics of Richland, MO.

We are happy to report the heavy rain has not fallen in our watershed and the weather front has passed
to the south of us now. That equates to great weather for our Labor Day Week End with wonderful daytime
temperatures and campfire or fireplace evenings. Outstanding for floating and camping or staying in
one of our cabins.

I do need to mention we have NO LOUD party section on the campground or in the cabins. We strive to
maintain a nice atmosphere to come and have a great time with family and friends with less exposure
to bad language, loud music, excessive drinking and fighting. We allow social drinking
(not public intoxication). All of that is best said up front so there is no misunderstanding. Because we
are the only outfitter in a 46 mile stretch of the river basically what we have on the campground and
in our cabins will be what you have on the river, works great! This may seem dull to some but not to us.
Hopefully it is the niche you are looking for.

We float 7 days a week with prior arrangement however this
Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day Monday the schedule will be as follows:
We make every attempt to drive out of the driveway on time.

10 Mile: 8:00 & 10:15
6 Mile: 9:00, 11:30 and 12:30

Both the 6 and 10 mile trips float back to Gasconade Hills landing.
If you are driving in for your trip you will need to be here 30 minutes prior to departure.
This allows for registration, waivers, getting your ticket and loading your gear into the bus.
Do not wait until you arrive to schedule your mileage and time. We do book out sometimes.

Thank you God for blessing America!

Highest Regards!
